Have you ever had one of those days where you sleep through 5 alarms, have your panties on backward, or forget about plans? Well, this just might be your wake up call that you need to realign your priorities.

You may feel your life is turning into crazy town. But I have great news, you can still turn it around at any time. Here is how!

  1. ASK GOD WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO DO – You may be surprised what opportunities may arise when you ask God what His will is for your life. He may want you to donate a coat to a little boy or girl for Angel Tree. Maybe you feel you should help a family out financially who are doing everything they can but can’t seem to make ends meet. You might feel God urge you to check up on a friend and speak some encouraging words. God works in all ways big and small. If you are too rushed, you could miss out on being a blessing to others and being blessed in return.
  2. IT IS OKAY TO SAY NO  You can’t be everywhere and do everything. God is the only omnipresent being. When you are wearing yourself thin and stressing out beyond belief, it’s ok to say no. Especially when it’s at the expense of your health and well-being. You may not be to the point of feeling this stressed but it can sneak up on you. It’s essential to be conscious of when you are over committing yourself. Even if it is for a good cause you can become drained and burned out if you say yes to everything.
  3. HAVE SOME “ME” TIME – You may need to rest, take a day off from work, take a bubble bath with no interruptions, go shopping with some friends, or have a romantic night out with your hubby looking your best. Life is too short to be stressed to the point of misery or getting sick. God wants you to be refreshed and live a life of peace, joy, and fulfillment.

Along with these 3 things, keep in mind that certain things are just out of your control. Let’s strive together to stop worrying about things beyond our control and give it to God. He will work things out for our good and give us peace that surpasses all understanding. I am so thankful we serve a caring God that will help us when we call out to Him!

Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you. You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, Lord; listen to my cry for mercy. Psalm 86:4-6

A Prayer For You

God, we choose today to give our priorities to You Lord. Show us ways to accomplish Your will throughout the day. Give us Your eyes and ears to see and hear opportunities to be a blessing to others. Reveal to us things we should say yes and no to. Help us not feel guilty when we do have to say no. Help us not grow weary but instead feel refreshed, at peace, and joyful. We thank You for realigning our priorities. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
