What are you thankful for today? Today I’m thankful for my husband. He was and is an answer to my prayers for a husband. At a time of great loss, God sent me him.
My dad was battling cancer for 11 months and passed away in May. On June 26th, Garrett and I went on our first date and we haven’t stopped since. I met him at a very vulnerable time in my life when I was hurting from that loss. He helped me heal with his charm and joyful attitude when we spent time together. I love that about him! Just look at the picture below at how much fun he is!
God knew exactly what He was doing when Garrett and I crossed paths in June. I didn’t think there was a guy out there who actually had a heart of integrity and for God. Garrett is the real deal that I had been waiting and praying for. He is a joy to be around, creative, and talented in many different areas.
I wish he could’ve met my dad. My dad never approved of any guys I dated but I’m convinced he would’ve approved of Garrett. I’m excited to see God’s plan unfold for our lives as we take on the world together.
