Day 14 – I am thankful for Mom and Dad In-Laws!

Mom and Dad In-Laws have been so welcoming and kind from the moment I met them! They both exhibit a consistent godly example of a Mom and Dad. They help others in need and stick to their principles. Momma-In-Law is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. She and my sister-in-law volunteer at a local ministry for little ones. She never meets a stranger and always has a joyful spirit. Dad-In-Law helped start and is the VP of a nonprofit. His passion is fighting for the rights of families with a godly perspective. He is also a bible study leader at church. They make a great team together with his vision and her compassion for others!

Another thing I admire is their dedication to family. It is so special that they have Friday night hamburgers at their house weekly. We all get a chance to take a breath from the busyness of life and enjoy a meal together.

Day 15 – I am thankful for my new sisters and the brothers I never had!

I am SO thankful I gained 2 sisters and brothers I never had. Rebekah and Elizabeth are so much fun to be around and hang out with. I gained 2 long life sisters and best friends!

I always wanted a brother and I finally got not just 1 but 2! Garrett’s brother Andrew is fun to be around and looks out for me like a big brother would. Johnluke is my sister-in-law’s husband and he is a hilarious younger brother to me! Ah Young is another sister I gained who was a foreign exchange student from South Korea who Grandma hosted! She is a joy to be around and I miss her! So I actually gained 3 sisters and 2 brothers all around the same age who are all very fun and loving people!

Not all families a girl marry into are warm and accepting like this family was to me. From the moment Garrett brought me home to meet his whole family to now, they have all been so kind to me! I admire every one of them for their characters and kindness they exemplify. I am fortunate to have married into such a wonderful family like my In-Laws!

What are you thankful for?
