In the rush of life it’s easy to lose focus and get distracted away from God’s still small voice. We don’t stop to listen to what He wants us to do but we focus on ourselves and we want. What we begin to realize-usually the hard way- is that we can’t prosper without His hand in our plans.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14

He is the reason we are here. He is the holder and creator of the universe. Yet He continually shows us grace, love, and mercy even when we willfully neglect Him. He is always there watching us and waiting for us.

When we honor God, He will honor and bless us in all ways! We look at the Bible as a rule book of do’s and don’ts but it is SO much more than that! There is a reason and perfect intention behind it. God is wiser than us and knows the beginning from the end. Words of wisdom imparted to us from the Bible show us how to live a blessed, meaningful life! Full of peace, purpose, and life everlasting!

Life is so short but as Isaiah 40:8 says, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” Isn’t it encouraging knowing that whatever trials we are facing today will soon be gone? It may seem like the end of the world but it hasn’t taken God by surprise. He has a plan to turn what was meant to harm you into something beautiful and even miraculous!

I know so many people who are struggling in this life with financial problems, physical pain, and heartache. God can calm the storms in your life if you let Him steer the ship.

It’s such a relief to know that when we pass on to the next life, there will be no more tears, fear, or pain! I am so thankful that we have a loving Father who has our best interest at heart and doesn’t forget us now or for eternity.

A Prayer For You

Lord, we come to you today and offer up our praise to You. You are so good and loving and we are forever grateful for it. Please remind us throughout each day for the meditation of our heart and the words of our mouth to be acceptable to you Lord God, our rock and redeemer! Amen!
