Come "Selah" Away with Me!
If you haven’t caught on yet, the title of this is a play on words for the “Come Sail Away” song that I now can’t get out of my head. “Selah” is so much better than sailing, at least for me at this season of my life.
I wanted to encourage you today. Your soul may be in despair. You may feel like your prayers have been ignored, your dreams crushed, but it’s time to pursue the Lord like you never have before. Hope again, believe again, trust again, and He will give you new strength.
So many things out there can steal our peace and peace of mind. Things done to us, life’s trials, and all kinds of things. But as Christians, we are promised peace in every circumstance. We’ve been talking about the fruits of the spirit and today we’re talking about another tough one, peace. I’ll give 4 practical ways to help us choose peace in the midst of every season of our lives.
Alright so we just had Valentine’s Day a couple of weeks ago but who doesn’t like talking about relationships, love, and matters of the heart? I love watching romantic movies and chick flicks 😆! Don’t worry, If you’re a guy or don’t like chick flicks, this is still for you!
You can laugh if you want but as I was putting on some comfy pants this morning, they got caught under my feet. I tried to tug around my knee to get them over but I heard something rip lol. I then pulled them up at the source of the problem, my feet where they were stuck.
It made me think about how we should deal with all issues – at the source of the problem. How many of you have tried a shortcut like I did to fix a problem, only to find that you made matters worse?
