Let me introduce you to a man who has encountered tremendous hardship and bullying throughout his life because of the way he walks and talks. You see David Ring was born a stillborn baby for 8 minutes. He was born with Cerebral Palsy and people told him he would never amount to anything.
He went to church all his life but believed God didn’t love him. If God loved him then why was he so different than other people? When he was young, his dad passed away from cancer. He said he was a momma’s boy and that she took great care of him. He begged God not to take his momma from him when she was diagnosed with cancer, but she died also.
After that he was depressed, angry, and lonely. He attempted suicide every other day for two years. He questioned God about why He would let all of this happen to him. He believed he would never find a wife or amount to anything. So what happened to him?
He found Jesus and claims he became a “champion in life”. He found out that God believes he is somebody and has a plan for his life. He was no longer lonely. He found happiness and purpose like never before.
David married a beautiful woman, Karen and now has four children and three grandchildren. He travels and speaks to hundreds of thousands of people and to share his testimony yearly. So let me leave you with the question that he posed that left me swallowing my tongue: “I have Cerebral Palsy–what’s your problem?” Meaning get up and stop feeling sorry for yourself. Recognize that you are a champion in they eyes of God and have a future. Start sharing the love of Jesus because if he can against all odds, so can you.
A Prayer For You
Lord thank You for reminding me of how much You love me and that I am somebody in Your eyes. With You, all things are possible. Give me strength to overcome fear and depression as I place my trust in You. Let Your will be done in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

This is such a great post! It really is so powerful what God has done through David. If he can do all that he’s done for God, what is holding anyone back? Themselves, and yet, in Christ, we can do all things!
