Ladies, have you ever picked out the perfect color of nail polish and smudged it? It’s so hard to wait for your nail polish to dry when you have so many things on your to-do list. You think if you are careful enough picking something up, it won’t smudge.

Well, that doesn’t always work out how you planned, at least not for me! If you are patient and wait, the color looks fabulous and it’s totally worth it. The same principle applies to other things in life.

Sometimes we want a job, a boyfriend, or our circumstances to get better, but it’s just not time yet. We go to God in prayer and He doesn’t respond at all or He says a horrible 4 letter word, W-A-I-T. If we get either of those answers it’s important to stop and listen. Maybe God has an even better job, guy, or greater plan in mind that you never knew existed!

If you’re indecisive like me, it’s hard to make your mind up over where you want to eat dinner. Maybe you’re facing even more difficult situations and you don’t know what to do. We can bring all of our worries and questions before our Father in prayer.

The Bible has all the knowledge and wisdom that we need to make it through this life. All we have to do is spend a little time growing in our relationship with our Father God. We have the Holy Spirit within us to guide us and be our comforter. We have an Almighty God that is bigger than anything we will ever face.

God truly knows what is best for us and has a plan for our lives greater than we can imagine! When I’ve done things outside of the will of God, something always goes wrong. I challenge you to “let your nail polish dry” and watch God’s perfect will unfold before your eyes!

Hebrews 6:12 – so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

A Prayer For You

Lord, we pray that you would give us patience and guidance when facing difficulties. We trust that your ways are higher than our ways and you have an even better plan for us. Transform us into the strong women of God you have called us to be when facing tough issues. We love you and desire to do your will above our own. We thank you for blessing us and guiding us through every day. In Jesus name, Amen.
