My heart beats for things unseen. My heart beats for those around me. My heart feels for others like I can’t explain. I can almost feel their pain. You’ve given me a new heart so now I see what I could not. I see things now that others simply cannot. My heart longs for Your embrace. I step outside in the fresh air and the cool breeze gives me peace. The sun still shining at almost dusk and the birds chirping sweet melodies gives me hope. Suddenly I know it will be okay. The clouds look more beautiful than I have ever seen. The watercolors of blue, purple, and grey form perfect streaks in the bright blue sky. My heart jumps with joy today despite my pain. How beautiful is Your creation Lord. You are greatly to be praised! I know there will be sorrow in this life, but you’ve given me a hope for tomorrow. I can keep going because of the heart You have given me. My heart is open now and I can’t unsee what You are showing me. My heart longs for something more. Another place where I belong. Until then my heart will keep beating for You. Please keep showing me what You want me to do.
A Prayer For You
Lord thank You for making all things new in my life everyday. Show me how to have joy and peace in every circumstance. Your joy gives me strength and freedom like I have never experienced. Show me what You want me to do and give me courage to see it through. In Jesus’ name, amen.
