Yes I completely understand about the thought life battle! It is very real and difficult at times for sure! Thank God for His grace and for leaving His Holy Spirit and Word to equip us and guide us. We must put on the full armor of God everyday and when our thoughts are attacked, fight right back with the piercing Word of God! Joyce Meyer’s book, battlefield of the mind really helped me when I was struggling with a few specific things.

Surrender. This word is something that has evaded me for the 11 years I have known Christ, or I guess I should say… I have evaded IT. You see it’s HARD to surrender everything to Jesus when I still want to chase pleasures in the world. My thought life is 40% spiritual and 60% worldly.. and that is not a good equation! UNTIL I am willing to give Jesus 100% I will continue to miss the mark every day.
This has been my biggest struggle and it all goes back to my pride.

The Bible says a righteous man falls and gets up seven times a day. I am so thankful we have a God that gives 2nd, 3rd and 486th chances, because some days my life is a mess!!! But here I am, a writer, apologist and blogger in God’s Army fighting hard to Stand every day. Your blog has inspired me.
