Romans 14:13, I wish more Christians pay attention to that scripture. Yes, we don't live for people but we shouldn't let our choices hurt others.

Yeah I agree. Cleavage is apart of the showing off everything in my mind. I see so much of that it's ridiculous. And I've also seen the no bra thing. Saw a middle aged woman at the grocery store who was cold. Also saw a young girl with some guys in a tight tank top wearing no bra. It's so true that girls and women wearing revealing clothes are sending the wrong message. They don't understand how a guys mind works or how it will attract attention. As I've gotten older I've been convicted by this verse in Romans 14:13 that applies not only to this topic, but so many things. Don't judge and don't be a stumbling block to other people. Also 1 Corinthians 10:23 talks about how everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial to us or to others. So just because I can dress, act, say, or _______, doesn't mean it will benefit others. It could actually be a hindrance to others that see me doing ______. When you're younger, you don't typically think much about people others, at least that's how I was. I'm still not perfect but I try to be more aware of others- their struggles, weaknesses, etc. With that said I'm still not going to wear a nun outfit lol. I'll wear clothes that are cute but don't show or hint at my privates just because I can. When you aren't leaving much to the imagination but showing off every curve or part of your privates, that's too far to me.

Agreed. I missed it if you mentioned anything about cleveage, but that’s one thing I don’t understand. If you want to be treated like a lady, why wear clothes that reveal it all? It’s not right that men treat women as sex objects, but if women dress like sex objects, they send the wrong message. I agree that we have to set an example. It’s absolutely I security. When I was a teen I dress in clothing that was too tight and short. Then I started getting the wrong kind of attention and it freaked me out. How a person dresses makes a big difference.

Right. That's awesome you live in a coastal town by the way! I think a lot of it depends on what's in the person's heart when they're like that. Not everyone has bad intentions. I agree some celebrities (or wannabe celebrities) are just out to make money at whatever cost.

I’ve never liked the bare look except at the beach, and even there I prefer a one-piece swimsuit. I always have, even when I was younger and thinner. I live in a coastal town, so I’m used to seeing women running around in skimpy clothes, even in restaurants and offices, and men looking sloppy in shorts and flip flops. It’s just the way it is, but I do my own thing. The Instagram type celebs are just ridiculous and I pay no attention to them, or try not to. They’re all about marketing a product and don’t care how they affect young people. It’s all about money to them—even a baby is a product to display.
