I have felt very strongly that there are many of you out there who feel alone right now. All of us at one time or another, have felt the dreadful feeling of being alone. It doesn’t matter if we are surrounded by people and seem to be having the time of our lives or are alone in another town separated from friends and loved ones. You may have gotten married thinking, “I won’t ever feel lonely again now” but the feeling comes back. All of us experience these feelings of being alone from time to time whether we believe in God or not. It’s important to surround yourself with people you can trust who have your best interest at heart. But this isn’t the cure for loneliness either.

I may not know exactly what you are going through but there is someone who does and His name is Jesus. Every morning on my way to work I pray for you. I pray that you will have peace that surpasses all understanding and for God to bring hope to your seemingly hopeless situations. I pray that God will bless you and give you favor in everything you do. I pray that God will keep you from temptation and deliver you from evil. You are in my thoughts in prayers because God puts you on my heart. God has hope and a future for your life.

Good News!

I am here to share good news with you! You are NOT alone. God loves you unconditionally like no one in this life will ever be able to. He will never leave you or forsake. I know some of you are shaking your head right now thinking “yeah right God doesn’t love me.” No matter what you’ve done or gone through He loves you. Friends, substances, staying busy, hobbies, doing good deeds, partying, etc. won’t satisfy this feeling. God is the only one who can fill the void you are experiencing.

Maybe life doesn’t look how you planned or wanted it to. Maybe you have lost loved ones or have suffered major blows that life sometimes throws. You might be blaming God. After all, if He loved you then why would He let all these bad things happen to you? Look I understand having those questions and feelings.

The Bible doesn’t say in this life you won’t have trouble. Trouble comes for all of us at some point in our lives. This world is full of trouble, disease, disasters, wars, and evil. We live in a sinful world. God is there for us but never promises us life will be a cakewalk. But we can live with joy that comes from the Lord despite our circumstances.

You can let the troubles of this life tear you apart like the enemy wants or you can choose to believe and have hope in God. God can use even the worst of situations to bring about good. He causes what to work together for our good? ALL things. Meaning the good, the bad, and the ugly.

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

If you aren’t a believer, it’s never too late to turn to God. You are never too far gone regardless of what you have done or what age you are. Only God can fulfill you and give you the satisfaction you crave. You were not an accident no matter what anyone tells you. God loves you like no one can, unconditionally. If you would like to accept Christ for the first time, scroll down to find out how.

“For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.

My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!”

Psalm 139:13-17

As Christ followers, we need to cover each other in prayer daily (1 Timothy 2:1). You do have an enemy out there who relentlessly tries to make you feel alone, depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, angry, hopeless, etc. But God wants you to live a joyful and blessed life full of hope and prosperity. He wants the desires of your heart to come to full fruition in time.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11

If you are a believer who is seeking out other things to satisfy rather than God, it’s time to grow up! You have the power to overcome any temptation so quit making excuses. It’s time to recognize who you are in Christ in and find out His promises for your life. Crack open that dusty Bible or download the Youversion Bible App on your phone and find out where real truth and hope comes from.

Stop walking around all gloomy and defeated when you now have victory and the power of the Holy Spirit inside of you. You can choose to be joyful in every circumstance. Start giving God the time of day by reading the Word and praising Him with your lips. You will be surprised what a difference that will make in your attitude. (And all your friends and family said amen, kidding).

In the upcoming posts, I am excited to share some new things with you I have learned about effectively praying as believers in Christ! They don’t have to be elegant and long-winded prayers, just simple from the heart and specific to you. Let me know if you have any prayer requests or questions and have an amazing week! God bless you!

A Prayer For You

Lord thank You for loving and accepting me unconditionally. Please show me how to walk in freedom and joy. Guide me in Your will and way. In Jesus’ name, amen.

How To Accept Christ

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is your chance. Say this out loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus thank You for loving me. I believe You died for me and rose from the grave for my sins. Please come into my life and forgive me for all my sins. I want You to be my Lord and Savior. I want to live for You. Thank You for wiping my past clean and making me new. Please guide me into my future with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

If you just accepted Christ as your savior, welcome to the family! Feel free to message me on any of my social media pages or comment on this post. I would love to hear your story! Please let me know if you have any questions or prayer requests. And know that I am praying for you!
