Today I was listening to Louie Giglio’s wife, Shelley speak at a youth conference when she asked: ‘where do you see yourself in 30 years’? My answer was envisioning a home with children who I’ve left a legacy of faith with which brought tears to my eyes. Who are carrying on that legacy to be a strong light in a dark world by leading others to God’s grace and tender compassion.
Are you really living or are you just going through the motions?
Have you ever seen a person who was given a few weeks to live start living differently? They probably started noticing all the small things they had missed before. They might have made the phone calls that were long overdue.
This one’s for all the mommas and women out there struggling with their self-image. You’re doing your best to take care of all the things and everyone else around you and then you look in the mirror and hate what you see. Let’s look together at 3 ways to stop struggling with our self-image.

As y’all know, I’m pregnant and my hormones are going CRAZY. I’ve had days I felt like I could fight someone because they’ve made me so mad (Garrett reminded me I shouldn’t be fighting like I didn’t already know that 😆). And I’ve had days I’ve cried at anything and everything.
How many times have we walked around only worried about ourselves and missed opportunities to build up others around us? Let’s start making an effort to reach out to others and make the world a better place, with one interaction at a time. Let’s leave people better than we found them.
